Bring on The Sun

I know I have, in previous posts, professed my love of winter BUT these warm, sunny days aren't bad either. The nice weather is making everyone so happy. I think if we were to get another shot of winter, at this point, the people of Ontario would throw their arms up in disgust and the air would turn blue with spring craved obsenities.

What is it about a bright sunny day that's so inspiring? I haven't been this motivated in months. I'm working out harder, I'm eating better and I'm longing for the kind of clean, healthy food I enjoyed, so much, in California.

No doubt about it, there is something healthy about the sun. It nourishes us in ways that make us want to nourish ourselves better.

Now that I've said that, it's going to rain all day tomorrow. C'est la vie.

Never-the-less, all this working out is paying off! I just did my most hated workout and it wasn't that bad at all. It was still challenging, don't get me wrong, but I didn't feel like I was going to die, pass out, or vomit...that's an honest to goodness improvement! The strength-training is getting easier too. I think it may be time to level-up!

How's the nicer weather affecting your motivation?

  2. I've got Spring Fever too! I'm usually a fall person, but this year is different for some reason!

  3. I'm getting out for really long walks with my daughter and we both come home feeling happier. I still find winter more fun though.
