Monday Weigh In

It's time for our weekly progress update, or in my case, lack of progress update. I gained 1/2 a pound.

I had lots of good workouts and lots of bad food. There you go.

I don't really care this week, to be honest. I'm too hugely frustrated by an ash cloud, at the moment, to worry about the holding pattern my weight seems to be in. Global events have taken over the priority spots in my brain.

It will be interesting to see how the events of the next week unfold, and then it will be interesting to see how the events of the subsequent couple of weeks unfold.

How did you guys do?


  1. I am very happy with my results this week, I am down 1 1/2 pounds. I stayed on track with most of my goals this week. I drank my water and stayed with in my calories. However I only got to the gym once last week, not all my fault when I was leaving the gym I stepped down on my foot the wrong way and hurt my ankle a bit. So instead of going back to the gym the next day and making it worse I thought I should hold off. It is feeling better now so I will get to the gym 3 times this week.

    They do say on biggest loser if you are stressed out about stuff it can cause weight gain. I hope you get answers soon about your trip, it is not fun playing the waiting game.

  2. Hi Jen, thanks for stopping by my blog. I too am in "brickhouse" mode. Lost three pounds this week ;) however, 40 more to go, oy! and yes, stress can hold onto weight like a toddler holds on to a lollipop!

    Where'd everybody else go this week? The weather's too nice to get on the scale I guess :-)
